Reaction to MP’ spam

-

HERE is some of the online reaction to weightloss tips sent from Mr Jackson’s Twitter account. @Amberruddmp “@sjacksonmp am looking forward to seeing the new svelte form tomorrow :)” @Paulstainton “I’m following @ Sjacksonmp’s amazing diet plan #slimmerbytheminute @_Johnrolfe “Feel the need to lose some weight... @Sjacksonmp any ideas?” @Loubybouby: “HAHA! MPS Twitter has been hacked! Haha!” @Jumpeduptheatre “@Sjacksonmp tweets have suddenly gone all polite and reasonable Can’t imagine what’s going on!” reading his Tweets, recently blocking the Castor Ales account after they questioned whether changes in the Queen’s Speech help ordinary people.

On May 9, he wrote: “@Castorales You’re boring and now blocked too.”

Mr Jackson has written 1,798 Tweets and the website www.twitterholic.com says he is the eighth most followed person on Twitter from Peterborough.

He said: “I use Twitter because people like to know about what it happening.

“I think it is better to use Twitter more as a diary than an elaborate way of getting your political messages across.

“Sometimes you can get some silly messages from people, but I think most of them are not even my constituents.”
