CIT has agreed to let fur­ther space at Stu­art House, New Road, Peter­bor­ough to Smiths Gore.

The na­tional land agency firm, which has 29 of­fices in the UK, al­ready oc­cu­pies 789.68sq m (8,500sq ft) on the first floor, and has agreed a new five-year lease on ap­prox­i­mately 267sq m (2,878sq ft) of of­fice space on the third floor.

Stu­art House com­prises grade A prime of­fice accommodation vary­ing in size from 513sq m (5,522sq ft) up­wards. Lo­cated in Peter­bor­ough’s city cen­tre, the scheme ben­e­fits from easy ac­cess to lo­cal ameni­ties and trans­port links.

Richard Saul from CIT said: “This new com­mit­ment is a fur­ther tes­ta­ment to the strength and ap­peal of the build­ing.”

Paul Far­row, di­rec­tor at let­ting agent Savills Peter­bor­ough, said: “Stu­art House has al­ready at­tracted es­tab­lished tenants in­clud­ing the Home Of­fice, Peter­bor­ough City Coun­cil and Op­por­tu­nity Peter­bor­ough.”
