The Peterborough Evening Telegraph
Friday
Harry is at nursery and Megan has been taken to her supervised contact session with her family.
My social worker visits me to see how I am doing. The children have had a good week, so have I. I don’t feel like I am looking after someone else’s child – from very early they became part of the family.
I don’t miss my previous job as an HR manager at all, as guiding these children along the right path in life is a much more rewarding experience. We are having a family outing to the seaside tomorrow, so in between painting with Harry and playing with Megan, I spend the afternoon getting all the essentials ready so we can make an early start.
