Flower club plans dance and city trip

A CLUB for flower-lovers is inviting residents to take part in two forthcoming events. The Werrington and District Flower Club will hold a Jubilee Dance on Saturday, June 9 at Werrington Village Centre, in Church Street, from 7.45pm to 11.45pm. Tickets are priced at £10, which includes a buffet. The club will then make a trip to Lincoln Cathedral Flower Festival on Sunday, August 19. The cost £18 for coach and entrance or £10 for the coach only. Pick up is from Werrington Village Centre at 9am. To book, call 01733 574153.
