1 He was the Eveningtele­graph’s Posh Player-of-the-sea­son in 1997-98. 2 He scored his first Posh goal on the final day of the 1996-97 sea­son to clinch a 1-0 win at Brent­ford. That was the day Matthew Ether­ing­ton made his club de­but aged 15. 3 He played for Nor­wich City as a school­boy, but fol­lowed Kit Car­son to London Road when he be­came the Posh Academy Di­rec­tor. 4 One of his best mates in foot­ball re­mains for­mer Posh goal­keeper Mark­tyler. 5 He made his Nor­wich de­but against Grimsby in 2001, win­ning 2-1. 6 He skip­pered Nor­wich to the First Di­vi­sion ti­tle in the 2003-04 sea­son. 7 He is one of only two play­ers to be part of the First Divi­sion­ti­tle suc­cesses of 2003-04 and 2009-10 at Nor­wich. Paul Mcveigh is the other. 8 He was Nor­wich City’s Player-of-the-year in the 2002-03 sea­son. 9 He scored in a 4-3 for Nor­wich over Le­ices­ter in the 2010-11 sea­son. It was his first goal for five years. 10 He was in­ducted into the Nor­wich City Hall of Fame in March.
