Dog killed after hit by car on bypass

A DOG was killed after being hit by a car near Peterborough. The incident happened at about 6pm yesterday on the A47 Castor bypass where a woman driving a car struck a dog. She pulled over to a safe place and went back to check the dog but found that it was dead. Police attended and are appealing for anyone with information to call 101.
