Warning to red light jumpers

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Yourtelegraph -

Drivers are putting lives at risk by repeatedly jumping red lights at busy road junctions in Peterborough. In the past few days the Peterborough Telegraph’s eagle- eyed photographers have caught a number of motorists jumping lights.

Jumping red lights has previously been a problem in the Peterborough area - particularly at railway level crossings. Last year officers from British Transport Police carried out an operation at Helpston level crossing - one of the busiest crossings in the country. Ahi- tech van, fitted with 12 cameras was parked at the crossing
