Warning to red light jumpers
Drivers are putting lives at risk by repeatedly jumping red lights at busy road junctions in Peterborough. In the past few days the Peterborough Telegraph’s eagle- eyed photographers have caught a number of motorists jumping lights.
Jumping red lights has previously been a problem in the Peterborough area - particularly at railway level crossings. Last year officers from British Transport Police carried out an operation at Helpston level crossing - one of the busiest crossings in the country. Ahi- tech van, fitted with 12 cameras was parked at the crossing
