Hundreds of school pupils and students are expected at Careers ‘ 13, a special event organised by the Rotary Club of Peterborough Ortons between 5.30pm and 8pm at the Nene Park Academy

The Careers 13 event is a revival of one which the club ran annually for over 20years until 2007 and was undoubtedly one of the most successful careers events in the area attracting on average 700 visitors.

The event takes place on Wednesday, January 16, between 5.30pm and 8pm at the Nene Park Academy.

All the secondary schools in and around Peterborough have been given full information and pupils encouraged to attend.

Spokeswoman Mary- Helen Shakespeare said: “On behalf of our Rotary Club, we would like to invite your organisation to participate. Stand space is, of course, provided absolutely free, but this year we are also providing the opportunity for selected organisations to run 20 minute seminars in a sepa-- rateroom, which holds about 50 people, for a nominal fee. The school café will be open for refreshments.”
