Appeal to trace car after hit and run
Police have released details of a car they want to trace in connection with a hit and run collision in Wisbech last week.
The incident happened at about5.45pmonWednesday ( January 2) in North End.
A 31- year- old man was struck by a vehicle, which then left the scene without stopping in the direction of Freedom Bridge.
The vehicle was a dark blue metallic Vauxhall Astra, mark 4, 1998- 2004.
It would have its driver’s doormirrorcasingandglass missing.
The man suffered serious but not life threatening injuries and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He has since been discharged.
Police are also keen to trace anyonewhowasinthe area at the time and might have i nformation about what happened.
