The alternative Highway Code

The picture above must be the stuff of nightmares for road safety chiefs, although it might come in handy for one of their training packs. It was taken at the Cowgate exit onto the Queensgate roundabout. Mobile phones, roadworks, disability scooters, all that was missing was an aggressive cyclist and a car straddling the crossing and we would have had a full house. As a pedestrian, cyclist and driver in this city I think it’s just safer to stay indoors.
