Student celebrates prestigious award

A former student at the Deepings School is celebrating after being handed a prestigious Duke of Edinburgh Award. Victoria Mumby was given the award after spending a week volunteering with park rangers in the Peak District. She said: “My jobs were to help build footpaths and put in some drainage. I was been challenged mentally and physically and have learnt that teamwork can make anything happen.”
