Kings Cliffe jumped off the bot­tom of the Pre­mier Di­vi­sion again - and this time boss Jimmy Brat­tan wants it to be for good.

Brat­tanin­sist­ed­his­team fully de­served a 2- 1 tri­umph over Whit­tle­sey United which was se­cured by a Lee Cal­itri win­ner.

An early opener from Dean Down had been can­celled out by an own goal be­fore Cal­itri set­tled the con­test.

“We’ve won both home games since I’ve been back at the club and hopefully that is some­thing we can con­tinue.”

Cliffe re­main in the bot­tomtwo, butare­onlya­point adrift of fel­low strug­glers Coates and Ram­sey.

River­side re­placed Cliffe in bot­tom spot fol­low­ing a 4- 1 loss at Crow­land.
