Motorists warned to avoid city road

Motorists are advised that Cowgate in Peterborough city centre has been closed to traffic temporarily. The road has been closed between the junction of King Street and the Queensgate roundabout until March 1 as part of the ongoing revamp of the area. Workers have uncovered the original cobbles but will put a newsurface on top.
