Eggheads beware - keen quizzers recently collected in Whittlesey for the Rotary Club’s 16th Annual Charity Quiz held on behalf of Life Education - a children’s health education programme run by the county council.
The extra funding of up to £ 20,000 provided by the Rotary Club over the years has helped defray the cost of the
mobile classroom’s visit to local primary schools. Parents, children and teachers all are generous in their support of the Life Education programme. Betty Hill presented the winners “Ex: Minster” with their shield ( pictured).
Rotary offers you another opportunity to become a record breaker. On Friday February 22 Peterborough Rotary Club will hold its annual General Knowledge Quiz night at the Thorney Lakes Golf Club. The quiz will take place in conjunction with those organised by other Rotary clubs and Macmillan Cancer Care throughout the country in a coordinated attempt to break the world record for the largest number of people taking part in a quiz at one time.
