Praise for rates decision
Business leaders have welcomed the Bank of England’s decision to leave interest rates unchanged at 0.5 per cent. Anna Leach, head of economic analysis for the CBI, said: “We’re not expecting any change in monetary policy over the next few months, unless compelling evidence of a renewed downturn emerges.”
