Hi-tech experts at a Peterborough company have begun a prestigious project to bring the historic Burghley House into the 21st century. Now Microbyte Solutions, of Commerce Road, Lynchwood, has been selected to modernise Burghley’s tele- communications and IT infrastructure.

Yusuf Yeganeh, managing director of Microbyte, said: “Wehavebegunthelongjourney to bring the 16th century country house into the 21st century.

“The work will be carried out over the coming months with other IT projects being evaluated in the very near future. Theintendedinvestment in IT and the overall network infrastructure is significant.”
