Housing venture is agreed by council

A joint housing venture has been agreed between Peterborou­gh City Council and Cross Keys Homes, the city’s largest housing associatio­n. The council will put £100,000 towards the operating costs of the venture and £20 million of capital funding has been set aside which can be invested. The company will have the powertoacq­uireland, develophom­esandsellc­ompleted accommodat­ion. Councillor Peter Hiller, cabinet member for growth, planning, housing and economic developmen­t, said: “We are continuing to do what’s right for thetaxpayi­ng residents of Peterborou­gh.”
