-

Owners of a beauty salon in Peterborough have just expanded their business by completing a £350,000 deal to buy their premises. The Beautiful Truth, in Cowgate, has purchased the two-storey building, where it has been for about 10 years as subtenants on the first floor. The property is made up of ground and first floor retail space totalling 1,849 sq ft. The salon plans to use the entire building. Annalisa Phillips, director of The Beautiful Truth, said: “I am thrilled to be in a position to make a permanent home at 40 Cowgate after the steady growth of the business over the last 10 years. “I am confident that the growth and expansion plans for the city centre will only be beneficial for the company and we look forward to introducing new treatments to our existing offer to keep up the demands of our loyal clientele as we settle in to our new home.” The freehold has been sold by Phlattes (Peterborough), advised by commercial agents Savills. Edward Gee, of Savills Peterborough, said: “The property benefits from a high footfall generated by the Queensgate Shopping Centre, making this is the ideal place for The Beautiful Truth.”
