On July 21, 2006 Peterborough Town Ladies played their first-ever competitive match, beating Cambridge NCI by five wickets in a Cambs League match at Bretton Gate. Notable performances came from Farida Bibi, Jo Knell and 13 year-old Zoe Watkins.
