Travellers moved in around city

Travellers who set up camp at the Lynch Wood Business Park were moved on after reports of repeated anti-social behaviour. The Prevention and Enforcement Service, consisting of police officers and city council staff, forced the travellers to leave the Orton Wistow site with a section 61 notice. Reports on social media sug- gested there had also been problems at the Norwich & Peterborough Building Society premises in Lynch Wood. Police were called last week following reports of stones being thrown, and people being spat on. Caravans parked at Werrington beauty spot Cuckoo’s Hollow had also moved on by the weekend.
