Young leads the way for Orton Park

Daniel Young was a century-maker for Orton Park as they overcame Division Two rivals AK XI by seven wickets. He made 108 out of Park’s winning reply of 2563, receiving good support from Hamish Meichan (63). Vidit Matta was the star of the show for Welby Cavaliers as they overcame Baston by 83 runs in Division One. First he top-scored for Cavaliers with 53 out of their 185 all out and then took 5-18 off six deadly overs as Baston were skittled for 102. Welby are third in the table. Division One leaders Spalding seconds hammered Heckington by 130 runs. Simon Juckes made an unbeaten 70 out of Spalding’s 228-7.
