Hales storms to a massive score

Laxton Park’s Ivan Hales blasted one of the biggest scores of the season when hitting 175 in a 227-run win over Uppingham seconds in Division Five. Joss Boyle was 98 not out as Laxton closed on a massive 349-3. Easton-on-the-Hill boosted their chances of avoiding the drop from Division Four with a handsome win against Orton Park. Alex Wheatley was their batting star, scoring a superb 114 - a knock that included 17 fours and six sixes. Joshua Hallam also batted well for 62 as Easton totalled 233-8 and he then took 4-30 as Orton Park were dismissed for 167. Hamish Meichan was Orton Park’s top scorer with 74.
