The Cedar Pool on the De­coy com­plex pro­duced some of the best ac­tion of the year for the JVAC lads .

Keep­ing his fine run of form go­ing was Lee Ken­dal, who won the match with an im­pres­sive 225lb 3oz.

Ken­dal drew peg three and caught right from the off feed­ing heav­ily with caster, worm and a few red mag­gots.

To ev­ery­one’s sur­prise he caught bar­bel with just a few carp in his win­ning net of fish.

Run­ner-up was Mike Mitchell with 188lb 7oz from peg 17, fol­lowed by Andy Kelk with 183lb 5oz from peg 13.

HOTPOINT AC

Hotpoint AC fished Lou’s Lake at De­coy and for some it was tough go­ing.

Top­ping the field from peg nine was Paul Faulkner. He caught well at the start of the match on a Method feeder be­fore switch­ing to the mar­gin on paste to fin­ish top with 109lb 11oz.

Pete San­der­son on peg 14 came in sec­ond with 97lb 4oz, then it was Kev Sch­nei­der with 79lb 5oz from peg six.

COCK INN AC

Ted Rowe guested in the Cock Inn match on the Yew Pool and won from peg 11 with 55 lb. Mick Sid­ney came sec­ond with 48 lb 12 oz and Stan Perkins third with 44lb 8oz.
