‘Now is the time to get it right’

-

Panthers captain Ulrich Os-tergaard is confident the club canget it right in the Premier League run-in.

The city side have five meetings remaining in the regular season, starting with a revenge mission against Newcastle tomorrow night (Friday, 7.30pm).

And the Danish ace will be more determined than most to put on a show against the Diamonds after enduring a personal disaster in a 59-34 loss at Brough Park last Sunday.

He admitted: “I just want to forget about what happened at Newcastle and make sure I move on by producing good performances for the rest of the season.

“To crash, touch the tapes and then suffer bike trouble all in the same meeting was really disappointing.

“It was a bad night for me, and a bad night of the club, but we all need to put it right in the meetings we have left.

“In theory four meetings at home should be ideal to help us get into the play-offs, but we all know our home form has not been good enough. Now is the time to get it right in some really important meetings.

“We’ve performed better at night than in the afternoon meetings, so hopefully the fact that Newcastle is a 7.30pm and Redcar on Monday is at 7pm will work in our favour.”
