Boy (9) hurt in collision

A nine-year-old boy avoided serious head injuries thanks to a cycle helmet. The boy was involved in a collision with a car at 3pm on Thursday in St John’s Road, March. A police spokesman said the boy suffered minor injuries - but would have suffered serious head injuries had he not been wearing his cycle helmet.
