Car wash and fire engine pull

A car wash will also take place at Whittlesey Fire Station, Cemetery Road, on Saturday from 8.30am until noon, before the on-call crew heads into Peterborough to support the city’s annual fire engine pull. The 12-tonne fire engine will be pulled through the streets for two hours, starting at 2pm from Westgate and finishing at Cowgate. It is hoped shoppers will cheer crews on and donate money in buckets which will go to The Fire Fighters Charity.
