Peterborough residents have achieved a major milestonewith5,000households making the switch to the council’s energy tariff Peterborough Energy

Jamie Leggett, f rom Hampton, said he had saved £754ayearonhisenergybill. He added: “I put the money I saved towards activities on my recent honeymoon in Mauritius, and I got to fulfil an ambition to swim with dolphins.”

Councillor JohnHoldich, leader of the council, said: “That we’ve helped 5,000 households to switch to a cheaper energy tariff, collectively saving over£1.3 million, is fantastic news.”
