FOOTBALL: Newly-promo ted Three Horse ho es won the big Sunday Combinatio­n League game against reigning Premier Division champions Peter Pan 4-3 with goals by Paul Hill (2), Darren Cooper and Glen Kemp. Pan scorers were Steve Zenchuk (2) and Darren Edey. CRICKET: Sean McMullen went from hero to villain during Peterborou­gh Town’ s 75-run win over Spalding in the South Lincs League. He clubbed his first ton for the Bretton Gate club - 110 out of 269-5 - but was later dismissed from the field by his skipper Ajaz Akhtar following a heated argument with a Spalding player. RUGBY: Borough were crushed 52-8 by Bedford Athletic in the RF U Intermedia­te Cup. Andy Lesiw scored their consolatio­n try. CTICKET: Orton Parkquicki­e Duncan Craig took 7-24 in a Rutland League win over Emping ham to make it 97 Division Two wickets for the season. That was 34 more than the old divisional record and 22 more than the best ever recorded in the entire league.
