Man in his 80s suffers bad fall

A man in his 80s was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious head injuries after falling down a flight of stairs. The Magpas Helimedix landed in Whittlesey on Sunday at 11am. A spokeswoman for Magpas said it was called to treat a man who had suffered a fall from a height. A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said it treated a man in his 80s who had suffered a serious head injury after falling down a flight of stairs.
