Cyber firm looks to secure its future

Celebratio­ns as fast growing company moves into larger premises

A fast growing cyber security company in Peterborou­gh is celebratin­g the opening of its new offices. Pentesec, of Commerce Road, in Lynch Wood, held a grand opening to thank staff and customers for their part in the rapid growth of the company.

It comes just months after the two-year-old firm was graded a four star partner by US-based Check Point Software Technologi­es, which is the largest network cyber se- curity vendor globally.

It means that Pentesec, which designs and delivers security solutions for large and small businesses, is one of 10 Check Point partners in the UK to have the four star accola de.

Simon Moor, regional director UK & Ireland at Check Point Software Technologi­es, said: “Pentesec is a fantastic success story.

“Just two and a half years ago they didn’t exist and now they’ve grown to over £5.5 million in revenue.

“The evidence of their success is outstandin­g. I’m honestly thrilled for them, very happy to have been invited here to mark the grand opening of their new offices and to celebrate their continued success.”

After the cutting of the ribbon, staff and guests entered the Pentesec premises to celebrate, with champagne, canapés and a huge Pentesec branded cake.

Ian Turnbull, co founder and principal consultant at Pentesec, said: “As a company we are extremely passionate about security and of course people.

Mr Turnbull added: “It’s all about the relationsh­ips we build combined with our vision to see each project through to completion.”
