Date set for CFRA next meeting

On November 1 (6:308:30pm) St Mark’s Church, Lincoln Road, hosts the next Public Meeting of the Community First Residents Association. The CFRA represents the areas of Central and North Wards between Lincoln Road and Bourges Boulevard (east to west) and Bright Street and Maskew Avenue (south to north). The group was only formed last December but is already making a significant impact on improving street safety from drug taking and antisocial behaviour, working with the police and city officials. The group is also focusing on street cleanliness and fly-tipping, parking as well as youth work, and learning more about the street lighting upgrade project. Organisers are keen to welcome any members of the public who live or work in the area to go along to hear more about this work and ask any questions.
