Boat builder looks out for new sales

Fairline Yachts creates new overseas links

Luxury yacht manufactur­er Fairline Yachts has taken new action in a bid to buoy up overseas sales. The Oundle based company has announced the appointmen­t of two new internatio­nal dealers to push sales in the Middle East and the Danish region.

It has named Royal Yachts in Dubai as its new dealer for the Middle East, which will trade as Fairline Middle East, and Baadhu set ApS in Denmark is its dealer for the Danish region including Greenland and will trade as Fairline Denmark.

Managing director of Fairline Yachts, Russell Currie, said: “Fairline’s long term strategy is about strengthen­ing our presence worldwide, and we are certain that the appointmen­ts of both Baadhu set and Royal Yachts will help us to achieve significan­t growth in the key markets of Denmark and the Middle East.”

Henrik Bak, one of the owners of Baadhuset ApS, said: “Fairline has a name that carries a strong reputation all around the world, and we are looking forward to strengthen­ing its presence even further in Denmark and Greenland.

“It’s an exciting time to become part of the Fairline family, with 2017 being its 50th anniversar­y - we can’t wait to get started.”

Peter Divers, sales director for Royal Yachts, said: “Weare looking forward to re introducin­g Fair line to the Middle East region.

“It is a well-respected brand in this area and the market offers lots of opportunit­ies for a prestigiou­s and innovative boat-builder such as Fairline.

“Fairline’s size of yacht (38 to 78 feet) is perfect for the Gulf region.”
