Sewing shop will have you in stitches

A shop in Bourne is set to launch an exciting new sewing project later this month.

Sew Friendly, l ocated on Crown Walk, is launch- ing their Community Quilt Project on Wednesday, January 18, which will run for a number of weeks.

The project consists of customers stitching ‘blocks’ to specific requirements. These will then be sewn to- gether to produce a beautiful quilt that will be raffled off to raise money for a local charity.

Shop co-owner Louise Jungmann said: “It will be lovely to see everyone and hopefully the evening will be as successful as it has been for the last twoyears, though we’re hoping that the snow stays away this year.
