Busy Christmas for community group in Peterborough
The festive season was a busy time for the members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association (AMA Peterborough), who worked hard to provide comfort and aid to those in need. They visited their neighbours, took toys and gifts into Amazon Children’s Ward in Peterborough City Hospital, and donated food to the local food bank. They also planted hundreds of trees working with Peter- borough Environment City Trust at Sacrewell Farm. AMA Peterborough joined members of the local community on the morning of New Year’s Day to help keep the streets clean after the New Year festivities. After the Morning Prayer they took to the streets, brooms and bin bags in hand as part of the ‘Big Street Clean’. Members of the AMA aged from 6 to 55 participated in this hard work for the benefit of all the community.
