1,000 jobs up for grabs at show

More than 1,000 va­can­cies are on of­fer to­day at a Job Show in Peter­bor­ough. A range of high pro­file com­pa­nies will have ex­hibits at the Job Show, which takes place at the at Peter­bor­ough United Foot­ball Club, in Lon­don Road, from 10am to 3pm. The com­pa­nies at the Job Show in­clude RSA, In­ter­serve Health­care, Stage­coach East, Ikea, Colo­plast, Coca Cola, Busy Bees, Dili­genta, Blue­bird Care, Voy­age Care, Western Union, Domino UK Ltd, PJ Care, Sense, City Col­lege, Posh Academy, Reed in Part­ner­ship, The Prince’s Trust, Na­tional Ca­reers Ser­vice and more. There will be a ded­i­cated Train­ing and Ap­pren­tice­ship Cen­tre sup­ported by City Col­lege of­fer­ing a range of op­por­tu­ni­ties for young peo­ple and adults and train­ing and adult ed­u­ca­tion to help get those seek­ing em­ploy­ment back to work. Vic­to­ria Clarke, di­rec­tor of The Job Show, said: “We are very ex­cited and thrilled to be cel­e­brat­ing so many jobs and ap­pren­tice­ships in the New Year. She said: “We have the per­fect plat­form to ‘unite tal­ent with op­por­tu­nity’ and are con­fi­dent we have some­thing for every­one – if you are look­ing to im­prove your prospects, train for a new ca­reer, or if you are a young per­son or adult seek­ing ap­pren­tice­ships or just sim­ply want to get back into work just come along on the day and come face-to- face with ex­hibitors just wait­ing to meet you.”
