Pupils tastle life at hospital
Pupils from Jack Hunt School spent a day shadowing staff at Peterborough City Hospital for work experience. Seventeen sixth form pupils were given experience of job roles within the healthcare profession. This was the fifth year in a row that the hospital has welcomed the students. Chris Game, assistant headteacher, said: “We really appreciate Peterborough City Hospital hosting our students and would like to thank everyone involved.” Nikki Davis, widening participation officer at the Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Our staff really enjoy showing the students what it is like to work in the varying departments within the hospital and to give them the opportunity to gain a better insight into what they would like to do for their future career.”
