Awards celebrate firms’ green records
ACCOLADE
Businesses are being invited to join in a celebration of eco achievements at the annual national Investors in the Environment (iiE) awards in Peterborough.
The ceremony will celebrate the achievements of those businesses already part of the scheme and provides a great insight for non-members to discover more about iiE.
Guest speaker will be Phil Williams, the founder and director of Plan-It Eco, an organisation that champions the environmental education of schools and businesses.
He will cover the need for businesses to bemorepro-active andinnovativeintheir approach to sustainability, and show the monetary benefits ofacompanyworkingtowards becoming more sustainable.
TheeventwillbeheldatPe- terborough’s Kingsgate Conference Centre, Parnwell, on February 21 at 5.30pm.
