Mayor to hold farewell ball

The Mayor of Peterborough will hold a ‘farewell ball’ at the end of his stint in the robes.

Cllr David Sanders will hold the event at The Holiday Inn, Thorpe Wood on May 13, starting at 6.45pm.

The evening will be an elegant, black tie affair providing a three course meal, licensed bar and the added fun of an auction and raffle.

Entertainmentwill beprovided by the Airwaves band.

A photographer will be attending the event from 6.45pm if you would like to have a memento from the evening.

Theevent will raise money for The Mayor’s chosen charities, which areMotorNeurone Disease, Royal Air Force Association and Salvation Army - Good Neighbours Scheme.
