-

A Peterborough bank’s annual bowling night was on target raising more than £2,000 for charity. The event was hosted by Handelsbanken, of Lynch Wood, at the AMF bowling centre in Peterborough and attracted 120 guests from various companies. The £2,881 raised from the sixth annual bowling night has been donated to Barnardo’s. Julian Turner, branch manager, said: “This event is always popular and it was great to see some new faces as well as many who have supported this event over many years. “Feedback has been fantastic. “We are delighted to have raised such a sum of money for Barnardo’s, which is a very worthy cause.” The individual with the highest score on the night was Kieron Brace with a score of 191. The best team score was Produce World followed by Moore Stephens Financial Services and RSM Restructuring Advisory LLP. The “could try harder award” for the lowest team score went to Buckles 2.
