-

An independent coaching inn operator has won two accolades in a prestigious national award-ceremony. The Coaching Inn Group, which owns the The Talbot Hotel in Oundle has been named Best Accommodation Operator and Best Pub Employer. The awards were presented at the Publican Awards 2017, in London-in a ceremony hosted by TV presenter Jonathan Ross. It is the largest industry awards event which recognises excellence in the pub company sector across the UK. Coaching Inn Group chief executive, Kevin Charity, said: “We operate in an incredibly competitive arena, so we’re absolutely delighted to win not one but two awards. “The accolades are a real reflection of the work we’ve been doing in recent years in investing in our teams, as well as restoring our coaching inns to their former glory. This recognition couldn’t have been achieved without the unparalleled hard-work and dedication to service excellence from our teams.” The group has built a strong reputation for transforming underperforming historic coaching inns and making them busy and profitable establishments.
