Cannabis factory raided

Police closed a city centre road after a cannabis factory was raided by officers.

The factory, in a property on Westfield Road, Peterborough, was raided at 2pm on Thursday, July 13. Officers discovered a number of plants at the address, although no arrests were made. A police spokesman said the road was shut to allow officers to ‘gather evidence.’
