THEY ALL FALL DOWN Tammy Cohen Black Swan £7.99

-

TAKE a psychiatric unit filled with women, each struggling with their own inner demons, and you have the perfect recipe for a gripping psychological thriller.

The key character, Hannah, had a ‘normal’ life – a loving husband, a good job and a close family. But then her ‘perfect’ world was turned upside down and she did something shocking; something even her not-soperfect husband Danny could not understand. Deemed mentally unstable, Hannah is willingly staying in the unit in a bid to get well. She has made friends with other patients and is recovering – until her new world is rocked by sudden deaths in the unit.

The doctors say it is suicide, but Hannah thinks they are lying. As Hannah tries to get to the bottom of what is going on, and her mum Corinne tries to resolve matters outside of the unit; is it only a matter of time until the killer strikes again…? Readers will be banking on that! But, there are so many threads to this tale that you never quite know what’s going on – but it all comes to an explosive climax in the end.
