THIS was regarded as a cool film in 1984 with its fusion of sci-fi and horror and it comes loaded with Blu-ray extras. Dennis Quaid plays psychic Alex Gardner who reluctantly joins Dr Novotny’s (Max von Sydow) dream research project. The idea’s to save troubled subjects from their worst nightmares. But, the project’s hi-jacked by a rogue government agent (Christopher Plummer) who plans to use it to assassinate the President. Gardner and scientist Jane (Kate Capshaw) have to fight evil forces in the dream world to foil the plot. Still good fun!
