A laughable excuse to blame one man and his dog
Your views on the big Posh stories of the week as posted inwww.peterboroughtoday. co.uk...
On the departure of Tom Nichols...
His claims that some booing of his name at a friendly attended by one man and his dog made his mind up to go is quite frankly laughable.

Yeah right, it was the fans’ fault that: he couldn’t hit a barn door with a shovel, he can’t hack a strong challenge, he’s no good in the air, he can’t tackle, he’s lazy and never worked hard enough to win the ball back. Paladin_2
Good luck Tom and show the boo boys what you can do when you play against us this season. Peterishere
He was given plenty of opportunities and never really looked like a striker who would fire us to the Championship. If we at least got our money back and a sell-on clause inserted then I assume every one was happy. Mr PG
No great loss. Should not be difficult to replace him with somebody better.

On the departure of Luke James...
Never given a chance at London Road and I hope the young lad can resurrect his career at Forest Green Rovers. Apart from Britt Assombalonga, any big money strikers seem to flop at Posh. Tyrone Barnett and Luke for example.

On the possible cash windfall from Britt Assombalonga’s £15m transfer to Middlesbrough...
This information is always revealed when the club accounts are published so why not just let the fans know now?
If the Nottingham Post are reporting that the sell on is 20% then I suspect that is true. I certainly can’t envisage Barry Fry allowing a smaller percentage than that to be agreed. Love him or hate him that is one thing he is pretty hot on.
Mister Posh
Alerting other clubs how much we make from Britt’s transfer will just put prices up when we go looking for another striker. Poshstato
