Donovan at number one in UK charts
Donovan Capes was in fine form for Nene Valley Harriers when they concluded their East Anglian League programme of fixtures for 2017 at Luton.
The talented youngster, grandson of British shot putt legend Geoff Capes, smashed his own club Under 13 discus record with a throw of 31.97m to take back his number one UK ranking by over a metre.
Capes also won the long jump and was one of five Harriers to achieve winning doubles. The others were Marco Gilmore, James Marsh, Tim Foord and Charlie Brook.
