WOLF ALICE

-

Visions Of A Life (Dirty Hit Records) Album

Wolf Alice quickly established themselves as the indie rock darlings of the critics with their splendid debut album. It reached number 2 in the charts and earned the band a Mercury Music Prize nomination. The quartet are now back with the follow-up Visions Of A Life. The ba,nd, which comprises Ellie Rowsell (vocals and guitar), Joff Oddie (guitar and vocals), Theo Ellis (bass) and Joel Amey (drums and vocals) recorded it in Los Angeles. One of the great things (and there are quite a few) about this band is how they can effortlessly switch from snarling guitar rock such as Formidable Cool to perfect pop like Don’t Delete The Kisses. All in all it is a towering achievement for a band that knows no limits.
