Top Billing for Glenn as he completes his hat-trick
Goals are pretty much guaranteed when prolific Phantoms are around.
The city side roared into double-figures for the third successive game when claiming an important slice of NIHL National Cup revenge last Saturday.
It was a night high on entertainment with occasional flashes of quality, although some generous goaltending at both ends certainly contributed to the bumper scoreline.
The two sides were level at the end of the first period after trading early goals (Nathan Salem with the opener for Phantoms) and short-handed efforts (Glenn Billing with a leveller for the hosts).
A quick scoring burst from Owen Griffiths, Billing and Ferrara gave Phantoms a useful cushion early in the second period before a soft effort kept Hull in contention.
Salem classily created a tap-in for Jamieson to restore the three-goal advantage, but Hull were back to within one by the end of the period.
Billing completed his treble 49 seconds into the final session before imports Darius Pliskauskas and Ales Padelek got in on the act.
Hull hit back again and then saw a penalty shot saved before Phantoms finished in the ascendancy. Ferrara fired his side into double-figures again before releasing youngster Taylor Romeo to grab a first senior goal.
