It was a Sunday to savour for the lads from One Touch Football with both their Peterborough Junior Alliance League sides chalking up huge wins.

The Under 14s were 10-0 winners against Hempsted United and that preserved their 100 per cent record and saw them narrow the gap on league leaders Netherton to three points with a game in hand.

Ethan Young and Taylor Gilbert were the big goal-getters with a hat-trick apiece and the rest came from Max Tompsett (2), Rhys Holmes and Ben Griggs.

One Touch Under 12s did even better. They entertained Division Three rivals Glinton and Northborough Amber and cruised to a 13-1 success to record their first league win of the season.

Leading the way on their scoresheet with five goals was Thomas Ijioma closely followed by Rohann Boughey with four. Harley Boyd (2), Archie Coates and Leo Charnock got the rest.

At Under 13 level there were more goals for Oundle Town hot-shot True Holmes.

He netted four times for the Division Three leaders as they beat Bourne Town Claret 10-0 to take his tally for the season to 16 strikes from four games. James Aubury scored a hat-trick and completing their tally were Samuel Taylor, William Whitwell and Jamie Dexter.

In Under 13 Division Four there were two 12-0 wins as table-toppers FC Peterborough crushed Crowland and second-placed Hungate Rovers got a dozen against Park Farm Pumas Black. Liam Simper (5) and Charles Pearce (4) were on fire in front of goal for Hungate.
