Holbeach United Yellow Under 15s went from cup final heartbreak to cup final joy on Sunday.

The Lincolnshire lads were pipped 8-7 by Werrington Athletic in a penalty shootout in the Peterborough Youth League KO Cup final last month but made up for the disappointment at the weekend.

They were up against big Division One title rivals Peterborough Sports in the PFA Cup final at Yaxley and took the honours 2-1.

They went 2-0 up in the first half with goals by Harvey Wirkowski and Joshua Ling and Sports could only pull one goal back in the second half through substitute Kyall Woods.

Holbeach: Connor Clare, James Clark, Jack Forster, Luke Hood, Ethan Kemball, Joshua Ling, Thomas Moxon, Jay Parr, Daanyal Saddiq, Harvey Wirkowski, Lewis Woodfine.

Peterborough Sports: Elijas Bagdonavicius, Shaun Bradley, Brandon Cobb, James Cooper, Marcus Goymour, Zachary Hope, Ethan Jones, Samuel Ogden, Kyle Rowell, Josh Hogg, George Lewis Penny. Substitutes: Lemar Moore, Leon Roberts, Cameron Scott, Jamal Shenille, Louis Whiffin, Kyall Woods.

Gunthorpe Harriers Navy are sailing towards the Under 16 Division One title. They moved five points clear at the top with a 4-1 win at Stamford. Ryan Olbromski (2), Zach Findley and Andrew Irvine were the players on target.

Under 18 Division One leaders Peterborough Sports had to fight hard to see off March Soccer School Blue. They won 1-0 thanks to a secondhalf strike by Nkobi Thabani. Sports’ big rivals Deeping Rangers Blue had a much easier time at home to Stamford.

They won 7-1 with goals by Alexander Moroz (3), Reece Driscoll (2), Lewis Brady and Thomas Crowson.

In Under 18 Division Three, Jack Watson fired a treble for table-topping Pinchbeck in their 6- 0 win over Glinton & Northborough Black.
