Churches to show off floral displays

-

Four churches are coming together over the weekend of June 30 and July 1 to throw open their doors to a wonderful series of flower displays . Nassington, Wansford, Woodnewton and Yarwell churches are all within the Watersmete Benefice and have decided to base many of their displays around a water theme .

From 12 noon to 5pm each day, visitors can tour the villages and visit all four churches after making a donation of £5 for a one day pass or £10 to take a more relaxed approach over the two days of the festival. Passes are available at the door of each church and under 16s are free.

David Laking, treasurer for Nassington Church said: “We know how popular our village open garden events have been and have decided to showcase the skills of our flower arrangers who have been planning their displays for months.”

There will be tea and cakes in Nassington Village Hall.
